Among the photos taken by your member, anarchist/archivist Josh MacPhee, which you posted on Flickr, are several sympathetic portraits of arch-terrorist, Marwan Barghouti. The portraits call for his freedom. Yes, it's true that Barghouti, leader of the First and Second Intifadas and the founder of the terrorist Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigade, is currently serving five consequtive life terms, plus forty years, in an Israeli prison. But why would that upset any decent human being? After all, he personally murdered five Israeli civilians, including a Greek Orthodox monk. Moreover, Barghouti has been treated very leniently by the Israelis, since his incarceration. Israeli prison authorities have permitted him (quite foolishly, in our view) to give anti-Israel interviews to the press. We can not verify this right now, but we have heard that the Israelis have even allowed this unrepentent mass murderer to have his own secretary, while in jail. And the five murders are really just the tip of the iceberg. They are simply the murders he was convicted of. He is believed to have personally murdered dozens more Israeli civilians, among them, children. During Barghouti's trial, Zion Sivri, who lost three family members to a terrorist attack ordered by Barghouti, yelled at him, "You're a murderer! You murdered my children! You are a terrorist!" We do not believe you have the slightest sympathy for Zion Sivri, or his murdered childen. We'll declare this, once again. You members of Librarians and Archivists to Palestine may be a lot of things, but you are NOT the humanitarians that you claim to be! And you lionize such unworthy indiduals!
